So, I've been spending too much time tending to my Azeroth hobbies of healing raids and killing Skettis, and finally decided it was time to come back to my meatworld duties and get something done. I started this sculpt yesterday -- there's 6-8 hours into it so far. Probably needs another 6-8 hours before it's ready to get a mold taken from it.

For those that don't read the comics, this is Darth Krayt's helmet, from the Star Wars: Legacy comics.

As for what this beast will be casted out of, I'm thinking foam latex might be best so I don't hurt anyone if I actually finish this and wear the costume to a convention, but I might also cast a couple in fiberglass so I have a piece to hang on my wall that won't fall apart after a couple of years.

A warrior is not powerfull because of a sword or a gun its not some magic artifact or cybernetic enhancement its none of that stuff it is the heart and soul of the warrior.

but the weapons sure do help

when your a jedi it really is the weapon. Have you heard of Tenel Ka. Her poorly constructed lightsaber malfunctioned during saber practice. She lost her arm at the shoulder, and her lightsaber exploded, taking her arm with it

If you make the entire armor i will drive, fly, whatever it takes to meet you and give you the biggest hug ever. seriously, i would buy this for any price you name if it's as good as this.
